Growing up without a father, Andra Farizki Ramdhani has not let obstacles hinder his progress. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, has found renewed hope through the People’s School initiative established by President Prabowo Subianto.
Despite facing financial challenges, Andra expressed gratitude for the opportunity provided by the People’s School to receive a quality education. He emphasized the significance of this initiative in supporting children who may not otherwise afford education, fostering enthusiasm for learning and intellectual growth.
Attending a boarding school under the People’s School program, Andra shared his experiences of adjusting to dormitory life, acknowledging both the difficulties and the unique bonds formed with his peers. The structured daily routine, including morning prayers, exercise, and academic sessions, has helped Andra stay focused and disciplined.
Andra highlighted the exceptional facilities at SRMA 10, emphasizing the conducive learning environment that facilitates better comprehension and engagement. Engaging in extracurricular activities, such as judo and informatics, Andra showcased his passion for holistic development.
Despite the absence of his father, Andra remains determined in his ambitions, aspiring to become a judo athlete and pursue higher education at Defense University (Unhan). He expressed his deep appreciation for his mother’s unwavering support and the importance of honoring her through his achievements.
Grateful for the financial support provided by the People’s School, Andra underscored the accessibility and equal opportunity this initiative offers to underprivileged children.
