Sumedang – Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto was greeted by thousands of residents, including farmers, at the event ‘Guidance for Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmers and Participatory Food Estates in West Java Province to Support the Increase in National Rice and Corn Production’ in Sumedang, on Tuesday (30/1).
On this occasion, Prabowo was present at the invitation of Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Andi Amran Sulaiman and will speak about agricultural extension and food security through the Food Estate.
Thousands of people, the majority of whom are farmers and breeders, were eager to shake hands and capture moments with Prabowo. Some young people also attended wearing university jackets.
“Mr. Prabowo! Mr. Prabowo,” the residents replied.
Prabowo was wearing a cream safari suit and a traditional Sundanese headband. He arrived at around 10:55 AM and was warmly welcomed by the residents who had filled the event location since morning. (SENOPATI)
