Jakarta – Sultan Rifat Al Fatih has left the RS Polri after being treated for 117 days after being involved in a cable entanglement incident. Sultan’s father, Fatih Nurul Huda, was touched by the help of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Fatih admitted to being surprised to hear the news that the National Police Chief had given attention to ensure that Sultan was treated at the RS Polri in Kramat Jati until he recovered. He was delighted and touched by the attention of the National Police Chief to his son.
“A miracle happened that there was special attention from Mr. National Police Chief to treat our child and bring our child to the RS Polri,” said Fatih in a video received on Monday (18/12/2023).
Initially, Fatih even confirmed the plan for Sultan’s treatment at the RS Polri to the Head of the Polri Health Center, Inspector General Asep Hendradiana.
“I asked the Head of the Polri Health Center there, ‘Is it true that the National Police Chief is giving attention and saying that he will cover everything?’ And he said, ‘yes,'” said Fatih.
He did not expect that the number 1 person in the National Police would give attention to his son’s recovery. He admitted that the National Police Chief’s attention changed his family’s plans for Sultan’s recovery.
Fatih was surprised by the National Police Chief’s assistance for a reason. The family had already made every effort since Sultan’s accident involving being entangled in a cable on Jalan Pangeran Antasari in South Jakarta on January 5, 2023.
“So this is all the humanitarian attention of the National Police Chief and he will cover all the medical expenses until a full recovery. We felt weak, Sir, we cried because we did not expect our shocked child, we had planned to sell our house but suddenly the National Police Chief gave attention like this,” he said.
Fatih said that his son’s accident had a significant impact on his family. He said that during the initial period of Sultan’s accident, his family was in shock and sadness.
Fatih’s wife, Sultan’s mother, was especially down at that time. Fatih said his wife was unable to walk and had to be supported by a wheelchair.
“She was angry, emotional, crying, sad, all mixed up because it was not just the shock of our child’s condition but also related to what might happen in the future. What we feared was that our child might experience something we did not want, that was the most important thing,” said Fatih.
