Rama, a single mother from Bogor Regency, West Java, found hope in the government’s Sekolah Rakyat (People’s School) for her son, Ridwan. The school provided more than just education – it offered a safe haven where Ridwan was treated with dignity and care. Rama, who had struggled to make ends meet after losing her first husband and being unemployed, was overjoyed to see her son embraced by the school community.

Initially hesitant to enroll Ridwan in the fully funded residential education program, Rama was moved by the care and attention given to her child. Ridwan, who had faced bullying in his previous school, found security and acceptance at Sekolah Rakyat, allowing him to thrive and regain his confidence.

Despite her financial challenges, Rama now has renewed hope for her son’s future. She dreams of Ridwan growing into a successful individual and is grateful for the opportunity provided by the program. Rama expressed heartfelt thanks to President Prabowo Subianto and everyone involved in the initiative for making a difference in their lives.

Through Sekolah Rakyat, Ridwan has not only continued his education but has also rediscovered his self-worth. The program has brought tangible change to their lives, showing the impact of the state’s intervention in supporting vulnerable citizens and providing them with hope for a better future.
