Bogor – Rahmat Agil Septiansyah alias Alung (20) has been officially named a suspect in the murder case of his girlfriend, Fitria Wulandari alias Wulan (21), in West Bogor, Bogor City. Alung admitted to feeling regret and having no intention of killing Wulan.

“I regret doing this,” said Alung during a press conference at the Bogor Kota Police Station, Captain Muslihat Street, Bogor City, on Tuesday (5/12/2023).

When asked about his reason for killing Wulan, Alung made excuses. Alung claimed to have no intention of killing his girlfriend.

“There was no intention to kill,” said Alung, bowing his head.

Motive for Murder
Alung was arrested after killing Wulan and hiding her body in a shop on Semeru Street, Bogor City, on Saturday (2/12). Initial information obtained by the police stated that the couple had a quarrel after Alung asked to end the relationship but Fitria refused.

“The motive was a quarrel, a dispute, because the victim did not want to be separated by the perpetrator. The perpetrator planned to break up with the victim, but the victim did not want to, hence the verbal argument and altercation which led to the assault,” said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bogor Kota Police, Commissioner Rizka Fadhila, on Monday (4/12).

Fitria’s body was found lifeless on Saturday night, December 2, 2023, in a shop complex in Bogor. Several bruise marks were visible on Fitria’s nose and cheeks.

Shortly after, the police moved and arrested Alung. The police are still investigating further into the background of this incident.

“Not yet, we have not identified that (refusing to end the relationship because of pregnancy). We are still digging deeper into it,” said Rizka.
