President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, recently attended the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony before departing for Saudi Arabia from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo was seen off by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other key figures from both countries, Prabowo boarded the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM. Prior to his departure, he observed military cadets rehearsing a marching band performance with Defense Minister Sjafrie at the airbase. The main purpose of the visit to Saudi Arabia is to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in relation to the Hajj pilgrimage and potential strategic partnerships. This visit underscores the commitment to strengthen the relationship between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration for the benefit of both nations.
