Tropical Cyclone Taliah, a category 2 storm in the South of Bali, has the potential to become a category 3 storm according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC). Taliah is currently located 724 km northwest of Port Hedland, Western Australia, with maximum significant wave heights of 7.3 meters (24 feet). The storm is expected to track southwest and continue to intensify over the next 24 hours, reaching speeds of 165 km per hour (90 knots) before peaking at 185 km per hour (100 knots). The Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) reported sustained winds near the center of 95 km per hour with gusts up to 130 km per hour. Taliah is moving at a speed of 11 km per hour. Additionally, the BMKG identified two active tropical cyclone seeds in the southern regions of Indonesia, with potential impacts such as increased rainfall, strong winds, and high waves in various areas. The convergence of these weather phenomena may lead to extreme weather conditions across Indonesia.
